Tom Henricks joined CAAP as Consultant and Vice President of Marketing in 2010 with nearly four decades of aviation experience. Most recently prior to joining CAAP, Tom served as President of Aviation Week with offices in New York and Washington, DC. Previously, Tom served as an executive with Textron. While at Textron, he was a vice president at Bell Helicopter and certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt. Prior to his time at Textron, Tom served on the corporate management team of Timken Aerospace, a Timken Company subsidiary of seven business units.
As a NASA astronaut, Tom flew four Space Shuttle missions becoming the first pilot to log over 1000 hours in the Shuttle. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a commander, test pilot and fighter pilot while flying the F-16 and F-4. Tom is a graduate of the Air Force's Test Pilot School and Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun). He holds a BS in engineering from the Air Force Academy and an MPA from Golden Gate University. Tom owns and operates a 1940 Stearman biplane.
